Unlimited Overseas Medical Expenses, Repatriation and Evacuation
Sometimes the trip doesn’t go according to plan. Our Group Travel policy provides peace of mind that if any group member suffers an Accidental Injury or Illness whilst overseas, there is cover for medical expenses and evacuation or repatriation if medically necessary.
Automatic cover for pre-existing medical conditions
Pre-existing medical conditions are a fact of life and don’t stop you from travelling. Provided you are not travelling against advice or to obtain medical treatment, there is cover for pre-existing medical conditions.
Global assistance
Group itineraries often involve special activities and destinations. We provide you with global assistance, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year. We also provide pre-travel and destination advice if required.
Cancellation, Curtailment and Trip Disruption
Our Group Travel policy provides cover for cancellation, curtailment and trip disruption due to circumstances which are outside your control.
Personal Baggage, Money and Emergency Purchases
We provide great cover for loss, theft or damage to your belongings including compensation for purchase of immediate necessities following loss of your luggage during transit.
Political and Natural Disaster Evacuation
Natural disasters happen and can cause disruption to the itinerary. If a natural disaster prevents planned travel or the New Zealand government recommends you evacuate, we’ll help you get home quickly and safely.
Hijack, Kidnap and Kidnap for Ransom
Most travel is safe but depending on where your group will be travelling, sometimes there is heightened risk of kidnapping or hijack. Should the worst happen, our Group Travel policy provides valuable cover in the event of hijack or kidnapping.
